Sihanoukville Military Sends 15 People to Provincial Court in Drug Trafficking Case

SIHANOUKVILLE: Fifteen suspects were sent by the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Gendarmerie on Thursday morning to the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Court after completing the interrogation procedure to be legally convicted in connection to a case of drug trafficking and use.

Lt. Col. Long Kim Hour from the Sihanoukville Provincial Gendarmerie Anti-Drug Bureau said that the 15 people involved in drug trafficking and illegal possession were arrested at 4 PM on Monday, 7 March, at the roundabout in the Village 03, Sangkat 03, Sihanoukville.

After the arrest, the police confiscated 25 packages of a powdered drug weighing 259.43 grams, one weighing scale, five mobile phones, four smoking pipes, one drug bottle, two lighters, one pair of scissors and other bags of drugs.
