Coca-Cola Suspends Business in Russia

INTERNATIONAL: Coca-Cola Company has announced on Tuesday ,March 8, it is suspending its business in Russia, following Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.

Coca-Cola has also said its business in Russia and Ukraine contributed about 1 percent to 2 percent of the company's net operating revenue in 2021.

McDonald's and Starbucks have both also said they will be temporarily closing hundreds of restaurants in Russia.

Coca-Cola and soft drink rivals Pepsi are among the latest Western companies to pause operations in the country.
