Ministry of Health Warns of Action Against Unregistered Digest Gold Sellers

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Health warns to take legal action against the account holders of the Facebook page ‘LIZA SHOP Beauty and Health’ and other stakeholders who promote the sale of Digest Gold in accordance with the Law Amending the Law on Drug Administration in Force.

According to a Facebook post, LIZA SHOP, Beauty and Health is promoting the sale of Digest Gold without holding a proper registration number and without the permission of the Ministry of Health by 24 January 2022.

Pursuant to the Law on the Administration of Drugs and the Law on the Amendment of the Law on the Administration of Drugs, all circulation of drugs or quality products for the prevention or treatment of all diseases in the Kingdom of Cambodia must have an official certificate or registration number from the Ministry of Health. Additionally, the advertising of these products requires the permission of the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry of Health warns all to stop buying and using drugs that are sold without the proper registration number as listed above, in order to avoid losing money or having consumer’s health negatively affected, because these products do not have clear source or guarantee of good quality and safety.
