BREAKING NEWS: PM Announces He Will Not Allow Tax Evasion

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has requested all officials to implement tax payments properly so that the state has enough money to spend. He has announced he will not allow evasion of tax and becomes one of the main issues of the country. To avoid the rate of generation of illegal gains, the scams and many more socio-economic issues.

He said that after he took hot measures to require all car owners evading to pay taxes or state taxes ,to collect more than $51 million dollars. He has asked all officials to bring their cars and to pay their dues.

"If the state has no revenue, how will it operates efficiently ?" he has said. Governments need sustainable sources of funding for social programs and public investments.

This was mentioned by the prime minister at the closing ceremony of the meeting to review the work results of 2021 and the work direction of 2022 of the Ministry of Interior on Wednesday afternoon, 23 February 2022.
