Ministry of Health Extends Daily Vaccination Time, Including Over Public Holidays

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Health has announced that in order to continue promoting the national Covid-19 vaccine campaign, the times you can go and get your vaccine will be extended on weekends and also over the holidays for more convenience.

According to statement issued by the Ministry of Health on Monday, in order to accelerate the rate of Covid-19 vaccination to reach the target goals of each age group as soon as possible, the Ministry has sought the cooperation of all parties involved to extend the times people can go and get vaccinated to weekends and also over the holidays. The Ministry hopes that this will increase convenience and also help to educate and mobilize people to receive their third dose or booster dose.

In addition, for those who are unable to make the trip to vaccination sites for valid reasons, the Ministry has stated it will send a medical team to the local commune to administer the vaccines.

The Ministry of Health has appealed to the Capital-Provincial administrations and local authorities at all levels throughout the country to mobilize people to get vaccinated for their third dose or booster dose, as well as those who have not yet received their two base doses, in order to accelerate the rate at which Covid-19 vaccinations are administered to meet the campaign’s target goals.

The Ministry of Health continues to reminded all individuals that even after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine, everyone must continue to implement the ‘3 Dos and 3 Don’ts’ health measures and continue to abide by the guidance of the national education campaign under the theme of joint responsibility and prevention of the transmission of Covid-19.
