Ministry of Health to start collecting revenue from Covid-19 vaccination cards from private doctors.

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Economy and Finance allows the Ministry of Health to collect revenue from the Covid – 19 vaccination fee from private health service providers (hospitals, polyclinics, clinics and maternity wards) that have received a permit from the Ministry of Health to provide Covid-19 vaccination service in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

In an inter-ministerial statement issued on February 4, the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Health decided to provide the Covid-19 vaccine card to the private clinic who requested the Ministry of Health and confirmed the correct medical techniques for vaccination.

The cost of the Covid-19 vaccination card is 4,000 riels per card about, $1 US Dollars, which the owner of a private health care facility must pay a fee to the Ministry of Health when receiving the card.
