INTERNATIONAL: With the Winter Olympics underway, stay updated with the Beijing Olympic tally.

The Medal table seemed to maintain the same today with only a few medals given out over the last 24 hours. Norway still in top position with winning another 2 gold, silver and a bronze are now with 12 Gold, 7 Silver 8 Bronze. Germany in the second position, with 9 Gold, 6 Silver and 3 bronze. The United States still hold on to 3rd position with winning more medals. 8 Gold, 7 Silver and 4 bronze. Norway also has the top position with the most medals, 27 in total, with the nearest rival ROC with 20.

There seems like no stopping Norway with a bag full of medals. Since 1924 to 2022 they have won the most medals in total. 144 Gold, 132 Silver and 119 Bronze with the U.S in second place 113 Gold, 119 Silver and 92 Bronze. Norway’s best Olympics was in PyeongChang 2018 with a total of 39 medals. They are standing at 27 at the moment, just 12 medals short.

Time is starting to run out and some athletes’ dreams have been crashed with not competing their best or been affected by Covid19. What is left to be won is exciting to see the athletes tying their skills beyond recognition.
