Sihanoukville: There were reports of five firearms cases, most likely starting from a traffic accident, and the other side pulled out a pistol and fired at another car, causing the death of a Chinese man in the car.

The above incident happened at 9 pm on 12 February 2022 along the dam road behind the White Sand Casino in Village 4, District 4, Sihanoukville.

According to the conclusion of the authorities at the scene, this case may have started from a traffic accident where two cars collided between a white Prussian car with license plate Phnom Penh 2 AM-5992 collided with another car on the side. In front of a white Audi with license plate Phnom Penh 2AX-1232, causing extensive damage. After the incident, the side of the truck pulled out a handgun and fired five shots at the Audi car, killing the Chinese man who drove the Audi. After the shooting, the suspect fled.

So far, Sihanoukville police have received some clues from the suspect who shot the Chinese man in the car and are continuing to search for specialized procedures. The bodies of the victims are being kept at the provincial referral hospital, waiting for the competent experts to perform an autopsy later.
