ASEAN region has reported a total of 17,286,354 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 09 February 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 17,286,354 Covid-19 cases, this includes 316,141 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,580,093 people (144,719 deaths)
- Philippines: 3,619,633 people (54,621 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,939,198 people (32,056 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,531,051 people (22,347 deaths)
- Vietnam: 2,380,695 people (38,521 deaths)
- Myanmar: 539,554 people (19,310 deaths)
- Singapore: 418,640 people (877 deaths)
- Laos: 137,103 people (577 deaths)
- Cambodia: 121,983 people (3,015 deaths)
- Brunei: 18,404 people (98 deaths)
