Excavators Find Large UXO Bullet in Battambang

BATTAMBANG: A 105 mm UXO bullet was found by workers while they were digging to embed a cable at 11 AM on Thursday at Group 5, Romchek 4 Village, Rattanak Sangkat, Battambang City near the fence of Sangke pagoda in the south.

Authorities said that immediately after receiving the report, the public order section of the Battambang City Police Inspectorate went to inspect the scene. They confirmed that one of the bullets found by the workers was a UXO bullet with a length of 105 mm, then handed over the case to the technical team, the Cambodian Mine Action Center (CMAC) to safely retrieve the explosive and destroy it later.
