ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,613,196 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 31 January 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,613,196 Covid-19 cases, this includes 313,824 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,343,185 people (144,303 deaths)
- Philippines: 3,545,680 people (53,891 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,865,984 people (31,965 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,440,542 people (22,176 deaths)
- Vietnam: 2,263,053 people (37,668 deaths)
- Myanmar: 535,254 people (19,310 deaths)
- Singapore: 348,330 people (854 deaths)
- Laos: 133,524 people (544 deaths)
- Cambodia: 121,299 people (3,015 deaths)
- Brunei: 16,345 people (98 deaths)
