PM Recalls Value of Peace Through the Development of High-Rise Buildings in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen posted on his Facebook page, recalling the value of peace with seven photos of the development of Phnom Penh. The Prime Minister wrote saying that in recent years, the face of Phnom Penh has rapidly change through the increasing presence of skyscrapers, bridges, flyovers, more roads and other new infrastructure.

All of these new developments reflect the great achievements of Cambodia, which has enjoyed complete peace throughout the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Hun Sen.

The Prime Minister shared pictures of Phnom Penh that were taken in the air, and wrote saying that Phnom Penh today is very different from the past, and in the future the city will only continue to grow more and become better. He stressed that all this progress could not have happened if Cambodia was not at peace, and he added that the value of peace is priceless and everyone must work together to maintain peace in order to develop the nation even more.

"Here are some views of Phnom Penh, the heart of Cambodia, we shot from the air in January 2022. Today it is very different from the past, and in the future, it will grow even more and become better. […] All this progress could not happen if our country is not at peace. So peace is priceless and everyone must work together to maintain peace in order to develop our nation even more,” he wrote.

For the past 23 years, Cambodia has achieved peace and national reconciliation, with full national unity, and one government, benefiting from the win-win policy of Prime Minister Hun Sen. Achieving complete peace has given the Royal Government enough opportunities to develop the Cambodia to this day.

The Prime Minister often reiterates that he would not allow Cambodia to fall back into a state of war, and declares that peace must be maintained at any cost.
