Anti-Corruption Unit Summons 11 people for Questioning

KOH RONG: Eleven people, including six women, were summoned by the Anti-Corruption Unit to answer questions about the fraudulent use of public documents, conspiracy to falsify public documents, and anti-government officials committed at In Sangkat Koh Rong, Koh Rong City, Preah Sihanouk Province.

The 11 people – Men Sophoan, Men Solina, Sok Malika, Chea Sanin, Leng Dok, Ton Vilamolin, Prum Seng, Sok Chenda, Meas Pisey, Ou Makara and In Nimol – were summoned to the Anti-Corruption Unit on 7 February 2022 at 8 AM.

The summons was issued after the Anti-Corruption Unit received a request from the Preliminary Investigation and Investigation Unit on Criminal Case No. 893 dated 17 November 2021 from the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Prosecutor's Office.

The Anti-Corruption Unit has issued an arrest warrant that allows judicial police officers to use public force to force them to appear if they refuse to do so by the deadline.
