Cambodia-Indonesia Sign Tourism Cooperation MoU

SIHANOUKVILLE: The Cambodian Minister of Tourism, Thong Khon, and his Indonesian counterpart, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Tourism Cooperation which will help to boost tourism and increase direct flight connections between the two countries.

The signing ceremony took place during the 40th ASEAN Tourism Forum in Sihanoukville on Tuesday, with the Cambodian Foreign Minister and the Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy as signatories.

The Indonesian Foreign Minister has expressed his appreciation to Cambodia for efficiently implementing safety rules and its standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The MoU between Cambodian and Indonesia is intended to deepen tourism cooperation and help restore tourism between the two countries as swiftly as possible.
