ASEAN region has reported a total of 15,592,059 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 15 January 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 15,592,059 Covid-19 cases, this includes 309,728 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,269,740 people (144,163 deaths)
- Philippines: 3,129,512 people (52,815 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,802,263 people (31,762 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,316,408 people (21,919 deaths)
- Vietnam: 1,991,484 people (35,341 deaths)
- Myanmar: 532,851 people (19,299 deaths)
- Singapore: 290,030 people (840 deaths)
- Laos: 123,293 people (476 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,728 people (3,015 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,750 people (98 deaths)
