Minister of Education: Candidates Do Not Need to Come to Exam Center to Receive Results

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports stated that the results of the Baccalaureate for the 2020-2021 school year would be released on the Ministry’s Facebook page, so students will not have to go to the examination centers and can avoid gatherings to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

In a letter dated Friday, January 14, to the director of the Department of Education, which was used as a Baccalaureate examination center, the Minister of Education, Hang Chuon Naron, stated that Cambodians need to be extra vigilant as new cases of the Covid-19 mutation are found. As a result, the Minister decided to improve safety measures for today and tomorrow's results announcement and made them available online.

In addition, examination centers will arrange for the installation of thermometers or alcohol spraying for those candidates who come to see the examination results in person. Examination centers have been instructed to tell candidates coming to receive their examination results to wear a mask while they are there, and to leave the examination center immediately after they have seen their results.

The high school baccalaureate exam for 2020-2021 was held from 27-28 December 2021, with the participation of 114,185 candidates.
