ASEAN region has reported a total of 15,459,688 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 13 January 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 15,459,688 Covid-19 cases, this includes 309,105 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,268,097 people (144,150 deaths)
- Philippines: 3,058,634 people (52,654 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,795,233 people (31,738 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,300,457 people (21,886 deaths)
- Vietnam: 1,958,719 people (34,964 deaths)
- Myanmar: 532,553 people (19,297 deaths)
- Singapore: 288,125 people (839 deaths)
- Laos: 121,436 people (464 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,684 people (3,015 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,750 people (98 deaths)
