Senior Minister Chairs Meeting to Discuss and Conclude Draft Sub-Decree on the Management of Land Use

PHNOM PENH: The Minister of Public Works and Transport, Sun Chanthol, chaired a meeting on Thursday to discuss the working group of the ministry to finalize the revision and supplementation of the draft sub-decree on land use management.

Addressing the meeting, Senior Minister Sun Chanthol thanked all the professional working groups who have worked diligently and responsibly to revise and supplement the draft sub-decree, which contains all-round content to achieve planned results, and instructed the working group to prepare and review the draft before submission during the inter-ministerial meeting.

The meeting also raised the remaining articles from the previous meeting to continue discussing those matters in detail, especially the articles related to the principles of land grazing and road grazing according to the type of function and classification of roads, such as: national roads, provincial and rural roads, and the management measures and procedures on the use of land, food and roads, including separate regulations, provisions and final provisions.

The draft sub-decree on the management of land use on the road network has 46 articles and 8 chapters which have been debated by the relevant working groups, and is still in the stage of discussions.
