Digital Government Cooperation Centre Officially Launched

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications launched the Digital Government Cooperation Centre, known as (DGCC), which plays an important role in building policy and capacity of digital government cooperation.

Minister of Post and Telecommunications Chea Vendeth presided the launching ceremony along with Korean Ambassador to Cambodia Park Heung-Kyeong.

Representatives of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Cambodia Office, as well as relevant officials were also present at the launching ceremony.

The Digital Government Cooperation Centre was constructed for supporting joint Cambodia-Korea digital cooperation projects, as well as providing policy advice and capacity building, especially for sharing Korean digital government experience through events, digital government forums, and workshops.

The DGCC project is part of the support for the implementation of the Cambodian Digital Government Policy 2022-2035. Its part of the Royal Government efforts to build a smart administration based on the use of digital technologies for modernizing the governance system and creating a conducive environment to boost an inclusive digital economy and society.
