ASEAN region has reported a total of 15,036,695 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 6 January 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 15,036,695 Covid-19 cases, this includes 306,273 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,264,136 people (144,109 deaths)
- Philippines: 2,871,745 people (51,662 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,773,156 people (31,609 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,245,250 people (21,780 deaths)
- Vietnam: 1,817,721 people (33,475 deaths)
- Myanmar: 531,432 people (19,282 deaths)
- Singapore: 282,401 people (834 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,535 people (3,015 deaths)
- Laos: 114,787 people (409 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,532 people (98 deaths)
