Forbes Selects Cambodia as One of the Coolest Places to Visit in the Next 10 Years

PHNOM PENH: The Kingdom of Cambodia was ranked among the 10 coolest places to go in the next 10 years by Forbes magazine.

Forbes is one of the most well-known global media company, focusing on business and lifestyle.

The Cambodian position comes from its rich culture and heritages.

Forbes has stated that “Cambodia is […] opening, and the idea of seeing Angkor Wat without the crowds is amazing,”

The other nine coolest places are the American city of Bend, in Oregon; Cashel Country Tipperary in Ireland; Costa Rica; the Ecuadorian archipelagos of Galápagos; the Caribbean island of Grenada; the country Mexico; the Argentinian region of Patagonia; Puerto Rico and the mystic region of Transylvania, in Romania.

Recently, the Angkor Wat Temple of Cambodia, a UNESCO's World Heritage Site, was crowned the most famous temple in Asia, according to Touropia Travel Guides.

In 2020 another award has been given to Cambodia, with the Kingdom of Cambodia been crowned No. 1 among the top ten friendliest countries according to My International Movers’ website.
