ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,821,601 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 30 December 2021 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,821,601 Covid-19 cases, this includes 303,851 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,262,351 people (144,081 deaths)
- Philippines: 2,839,790 people (51,241 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,750,516 people (31,428 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,220,324 people (21,672 deaths)
- Vietnam: 1,694,874 people (31,877 deaths)
- Myanmar: 530,276 people (19,262 deaths)
- Singapore: 278,750 people (826 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,473 people (3,011 deaths)
- Laos: 108,782 people (355 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,465 people (98 deaths)
