ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,776,421 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 28 December 2021 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,776,421 Covid-19 cases, this includes 303,208 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,261,879 people (144,063 deaths)
- Philippines: 2,838,792 people (51,211 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,743,936 people (31,369 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,214,712 people (21,630 deaths)
- Vietnam: 1,666,545 people (31,418 deaths)
- Myanmar: 529,813 people (19,257 deaths)
- Singapore: 278,044 people (825 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,464 people (3,009 deaths)
- Laos: 106,778 people (328 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,458 people (98 deaths)
