Santa Claus Sets off from the Arctic Circle on Annual Christmas Journey

INTERNATIONAL: Christmas is about meaningful moments. For two millennia, people around the world have been observing it with traditions and practices that are both religious and secular in nature.

Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed primarily on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world.

It is celebrated religiously by a majority of Christians, as well as culturally by many non-Christians, for a lot of people, especially kids, Santa Claus is a part of Christmas.

Santa Claus, also known as Father Christmas, Saint Nicholas, Saint Nick, Kris Kringle, or simply Santa, is a legendary character originating in Eastern Christian culture who is said to bring children gifts on Christmas Eve of toys and candy, depending on whether they are "naughty or nice".He is said to accomplish this with the aid of Christmas elves, who make the toys in his workshop at the North Pole, and flying reindeer who pull his sleigh through the air.

Santa is generally depicted as a portly, jolly, white-bearded man, often with spectacles, wearing a red coat with white fur collar and cuffs, white-fur-cuffed red trousers, red hat with white fur, and black leather belt and boots, carrying a bag full of gifts for children. He is commonly portrayed as laughing in a way that sounds like "ho ho ho and riding his sleigh.

People have been living in this very extraordinary time for two years. It is quite a long time for everyone, but just imagine what it must feel like for a six-year-old child. These times have lasted for almost a third of their lifetime. There’s a lot of very worrying news about the well-being and coping of children and young people around the globe.
