ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,635,530 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 22 December 2021 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,635,530 Covid-19 cases, this includes 300,956 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,260,893 people (144,024 deaths)
- Philippines: 2,837,719 people (50,794 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,724,684 people (31,192 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,199,061 people (21,471 deaths)
- Vietnam: 1,571,780 people (30,041 deaths)
- Myanmar: 528,639 people (19,230 deaths)
- Singapore: 276,385 people (817 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,427 people (3,005 deaths)
- Laos: 100,524 people (284 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,418 people (98 deaths)
