Police in Sihanoukville Arrest Four Suspects in Chinese Murder Case

SIHANOUKVILLE: The Preah Sihanouk Provincial Police Commissioner, Major General Chuon Narin, has reported that four suspects (one Chinese, one Vietnamese and two Cambodians) have been arrested in connection to the murder case of a Chinese man at BLUE SKY Borey in Sihanoukville.

The murder occurred on 4 December 2021 at House A252 in BLUE SKY Borey, Group 22, Village 5, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville. Major General Chuon Narin confirmed that the operation to crack down on these suspects was carried out over 14 days in good cooperation with the relevant Capital-Provincial Police Commissioners, under the direct command of the National Police Commissioner, General Neth Savoeun, and under the coordination of procedures from prosecutors of Sihanoukville, Ratanakiri, Stung Treng, Kampot and Phnom Penh, especially with the participation of the Central Department of Security and the Department of Criminal Affairs.

The Major General added that the evidence confiscated after the arrest includes: one handgun (CF98-9. Black), two rounds, 19 9mm bullets, one silencer, one gray AUDI A7 car, one flashlight, marijuana and some other drugs.
