INTERNATIONAL: On 20 December 2021 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,590,160 Covid-19 cases, this includes 300,214 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,260,544 people (144,002 deaths)
- Philippines: 2,837,577 people (50,739 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,718,955 people (31,092 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,194,053 people (21,406 deaths)
- Vietnam: 1,540,478 people (29,566 deaths)
- Myanmar: 528,253 people (19,220 deaths)
- Singapore: 275,910 people (813 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,416 people (3,005 deaths)
- Laos: 98,572 people (273 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,402 people (98 deaths)
