PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Health has confirmed the discovery of two more Omicron variant of Covid-19 on Saturday evening. Both third and fourth patients are Cambodians. One is a 47-year-old woman came from the United States and transited in South Korea while the other is a 33-year-old woman came from France and transited in Singapore.

 The Ministry of Health confirmed that upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, they quickly tested the samples of the two women who tested positive for Covid-19

and sent their samples to the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge. The PCR tests show Omicron variant of the virus.

 The Ministry of Health calls on all citizens to continue to implement strict self-protection measures, especially the "3 protection and 3 do not" measures and vaccinate Covid-19 to prevent the spread of the virus in the community.
