PM: Helping Laos is Like Brotherhood

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has described the help to Laos as like brotherhood. He made the statement during the visit of the outgoing Laos Ambassador Amphay Kindavong at the Peace Palace on Friday. The Lao ambassador has paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Hun Sen.

Lao Ambassador Amphay Kindavong says, "The people of Laos, the government of Laos, are very happy and grateful to the people and the government of Cambodia.”

Prime Minister Hun Sen stated that the assistance that Cambodia has provided to Laos in the past is the aid that he considers to be mutual assistance between the brothers of the two countries who need each other. He praised the cooperative relations of the two countries in the past.
