Ministry of Health Advises Private Sector to Use Vaccination Cards From the Same Ministry

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Health has instructed private health services to use the Covid-19 vaccination card, prepared and published by the Ministry of Health, to verify and record accurate information on vaccination recipients in the Covid-19 vaccination database. The guideline is to ensure that data on the Covid-19 vaccination, along with the issuance of Covid-19 vaccines, made by the private sector, must have the same standards as the government, so that it will not be difficult to recognize the vaccines nationwide and in international levels.

The Ministry of Health further states that private services which have the right to provide Covid-19 vaccination must request a Covid-19 vaccination card to the Ministry of Health and pay a printing fee to the same Ministry along with such guidelines, with the Ministry guidance on how to enter data in the immunization management system and the process of registration on immunization cards.

The Ministry of Health states: "CEC-19 will conduct a training course for those responsible for data entry into the Covid-19 vaccination management system of private health care facilities licensed to provide Covid-19 vaccine, then give an account and password for access to the Covid-19 vaccination management system, which won’t be shared with anyone.

On July of this year, the Ministry of Health decided to allow hospitals, polyclinics, clinics and maternity wards to obtain permission from the Ministry of Health to provide Covid-19 vaccine to alleviate the difficulties and expedite vaccine injection for a quickly availability to citizens.
