ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,446,449 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 15 December 2021 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,446,449 Covid-19 cases, this includes 298,195 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,259,439 people (143,960 deaths)
- Philippines: 2,836,868 people (50,351 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,699,240 people (30,956 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,178,276 people (21,258 deaths)
- Vietnam: 1,443,648 people (28,333 deaths)
- Myanmar: 527,274 people (19,193 deaths)
- Singapore: 274,143 people (804 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,382 people (2,992 deaths)
- Laos: 91,816 people (250 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,363 people (98 deaths)
