BREAKING NEWS: PM Confirms First Omicron Case in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has confirmed that Cambodia has recording the first case of Omicron variant of Covid-19. The Prime Minister has urged people not to be Afraid of it.

According to Prime Minister Hun Sen, the traveller is a 23-year-old pregnant woman who came from Ghana. He has announced that the woman was vaccinated with Johnson & Johnson and she does not have any symptoms.

The Ministry of Health has revealed on Tuesday night that the woman tested positive with the Omicron variant had transitted in Dubai and Thailand.

Prime Minister Hun Sen has emphasized that there is nothing to worry with the proper health measure in place. He has also stressed that vaccine alone is not enough. He says that people must constantly follow the "3 do's and 3 dont's".

Despite the discovery of the Omicron variant of Covid-19, Prime Minister Hun Sen has assured that the country will never be close again.
