Police Continues Search of Armed Man in Battambang, Weapon Found

BATTAMBANG: Battambang’s police are still in search of a resident who fired weapon at his house in O Snguot village, Ta Sanh commune, Samlot district on Monday. The suspect was identified as Sok Kong, 54 who escaped arrest. However, his AK-47 weapon was found dumped in the middle of the forest.

Samlot District Police Inspector Lieutenant Colonel Men Rim has said that the weapon believed to be owned by the suspect was found around three kilometres away from his house. The manhunt operation to arrest Sok Kong who fired more than 20 times on Monday continues. No one was reported hurt during the incident.
