INTERNATIONAL: On 08 December 2021 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,264,150 Covid-19 cases, this includes 295,131 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,258,076 people (143,893 deaths)
- Philippines: 2,835,345 people (49,591 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,667,999 people (30,718 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,152,384 people (21,033 deaths)
- Vietnam: 1,337,523 people (26,700 deaths)
- Myanmar: 524,638 people (19,146 deaths)
- Singapore: 270,588 people (771 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,286 people (2,967 deaths)
- Laos: 82,082 people (214 deaths)
