More Infrastructure Projects for Cambodia

PREY VENG: Prime Minister Hun Sen has announced that Cambodia has three more infrastructure projects coming following the completion of the National Road No. 11 which was inaugurated on Monday. The Prime Minister says the coming projects are the bridge crossing Mekong River in Kratie province connecting to Kampong Thom, road from Staung district of Kampong Thom province to Kratie province, a bridge across the Tonle Sap River and a road connecting Kampong Chhnang province and Kampong Thom province.

He has added that Cambodia has also been studying the construction of a road linking Battambang and Siem Reap provinces.

The Prime Minister has expressed gratitude to the Chinese government represented by its Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wentian. Wentian has said during his message at the inauguration ceremony that the next project that they looking forward in Cambodia is an expressway that connects Phnom Penh and Sihaoukville.
