Inauguration of Sihanouk’s Beach Resort Gives Hopes of Development Despite Covid-19

Sihanoukville: During the inauguration of a beach resort located at the Otres area in Sagkat 4, the Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province, Kouch Chamroeun, has stated that after the Royal Government’s decision of reopening the country, foreign private sector investors are restarting to invest again at Sihanouk, as shown by the inauguration of a new resort in the Kingdom.

The Governor has reassured that foreign investors can trust in the Royal Government, redeveloping real estate sectors in Sihanoukville after the well succeeded vaccination campaign in Cambodia.

Kouch Chamroeun has also congratulated the opening of the Coastal Recreational Center, stressing that investments such as resorts and hotel industry provides substantial employment opportunities for the Cambodian people and youth, promoting local and national economic growth.

The Governor has added that China’s Road and Belt policy has changed the city for better, contributing with the services and roads of Sihanoukville.
