OCA to Build Olympic Museum at Morodok Techo National Stadium

The Olympic Council of Asia has announced that it will build an olympic museum at the Morodok Techo National Stadium. The goal is to revel not only the sports but also to highlight the achievements of athletes from around the world as well as to educate and inspire future athletes.

Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia Vath Chamroeun has confirmed the news as he attends the General Assembly of Asian Olympic Council of Asia in Dubai city of the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday.

The Cambodian delegate in Dubai includes Minister of Tourism Thong Khon who is also the NOCC President and Phnom Penh Governor Khuon Sreng.

Vath Chamroeun has added that the museum will serve as a hub to share knowledge and showcase information of international sports and well-known athletes in the world.

Accordingly, it was one of the three key benefits that the Cambodian delegation obtained from the general assembly, said the secretary general. Cambodia has participated in the OCA General Assembly as a full member, which was highlighted when Cambodia was granted the right to host the 5th ASEAN Youth Games 2029.
