Pailin: Sense Entertainment Club located in Phsar Prom Cheung Village, Stung Karch Commune, Sala Krao District in Pailin Province, has been damaged by a fire early morning on Friday, near the Cambodian-Thailand border. Governor of Sala Krao District Sam Sareth, has said that after the government announced the full reopening of the country, the Sense Entertainment Club immediately reopened their business.

However, at around 5:45am on Friday, a fire broke out causing severe damage to the building. Fire and police authorities have estimated a $50,000 total cost of the damage. Governor Sareth has added that although the police force together with the provincial military police tried to spray water on many fire trucks, but could not control the situation for more than three hours.

The responding team used an excavator to smash the door of the club in order to penetrate the inside. The governor has also said that the club caught fire quickly because inside were sponges and cotton paper covering around the wall causing the fire difficult to control the situation and causing damage to the whole building.
