Safety Guidelines for Secondary School Exams

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has released the health safety guidelines for the Higher Secondary Diploma Examinations taking place on 27 December. The guidelines highlight the safety measures that need to be implemented before and during the examination process by all the respective groups involved, such as school officials and health personnel, for the utmost protection of students, teachers and committee members.

It says that regular cleaning and disinfection of examination rooms is a must, with appropriate 1.5-meter distancing, daily temperature checks, mask-wearing and rapid antigen testing required.

The Ministry stresses that teachers, training Institutions, and all public and private schools designated as examination centers are required to strictly follow the stated guidelines.
