Inauguration Date of Cambodia-China Friendship Bridge Announced

Kampong Cham: Minister Delegate of Hun Sen, You Sunlong, has announced on Friday morning that Cambodia-China Stung Trang-Kroch Chhmar Friendship Bridge will be officially inaugurated on 23 November under the presidency of Prime Minister Hun Sen.

The announcement was made with You Sunlong leading a working group in which Governor of Kampong Chan Un Chanda and Tbong Khmun Province Governor Cheam Chansophorn were present, as well as other relevant officials.

According to Kampong Cham provincial administration, the Cambodia-China Friendship Bridge, which crosses the Mekong River, has a total length of 1,131 meters and a width of 13.50 meters, made with a type of steel-fiber concrete bridge. The bridge was opened for construction on 9 February 2018, costing more than $56 million.
