Minister of Interior Lays Foundation Stone for Its New Building

PHNOM PENH: The Minister of Interior, Samdech Krala Hom Sar Kheng has laid the foundation stone for the construction of a new office building of the Ministry of Interior on Thursday. The new building is expected to be completed in 2023 at a cost of more than $60 million.

In 2021, new buildings of the Ministry of Public Institutions were rebuilt and renovated by the Royal Government, including the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Ministry of Mines and Energy.

The Prime Minister of Cambodia has announced during the inauguration ceremony of the new building of the Ministry of Land Management on 8 November that the construction of a new building passes the pennant of the Institute of Standards of Cambodia which is trying its best to reform the quality of infrastructure in the Kingdom that can represent a new landmark, by building best looking and high-quality building infrastructure.

PM further says buildings must be in harmony with human needs, environments must converge with the changing needs of people.
