Cambodia-Australia Commitment Remains Steady

Phnom Penh: Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhon has welcomed his Australian counterpart, Marise Payne. He says, "A true pleasure to finally meet in person after several bilateral phone talks as well as virtual meetings in the last couple years."

Foreign Minister Prak Sokhon says their common stance remains unchanged which are ensuring regional peace, stability and prosperity. He says international solidarity is fundamental in attaining these objectives, especially amid the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. He stresses, "Cambodia always appreciates Australia’s engagement and support extended to us and to ASEAN."
