10 Millionth Vaccinated Receives Reward

Phnom Penh: The 89-year-old Sok Phat from Siem Reap has received his reward on Tuesday for actively participating in the government’s vaccination campaign against Covid-19. The woman was the 10 millionth got vaccinated. The Royal government has been aiming to vaccinate at least 10 million of the adult population in the country. Phat was announced as the lucky 10 millionth vaccinated person on Sunday.

Phat’s reward came from Prime Minister Hun Sen and was delivered by the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Or Vandine. She was accompanied by the governor of Siem Reap province, Tea Seiha in delivering almost $2500 dollars cash reward to Phat along with other goods in Traing Village, Slor Kram commune, in Siem Reap City.
