Actor Alec Baldwin Kills Cinematographer with Prop Gun

INTERNATIONAL: Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin has fatally shot a woman with a prop gun on the set of an independent feature film in Bonanza Creek Ranch, New Mexico.

Police say the victim was award-winning cinematographer, 42-year-old Halyna Hutchins. She was a former journalist from Ukraine and had been selected as one of American Cinematographer’s “Rising Stars of 2019”. The incident also wounded the film’s director, Joel Souza.

Halyna Hutchins was flown to hospital by helicopter but died of her injuries. Souza is receiving emergency care, but no further details of his injuries have been disclosed. Police are still investigating the incident the popular filming location. No charges have been filed as yet.
