Kampong Thom Province Prepares for School Reopening

Kampong Thom: At the meeting of Kampong Thom Provincial Administrative Unity Command, Governor Nguon Rattanak has announced the restart of classes at low-risk public schools. He has instructed a supervision team to organize a cleaning force and spray the school’s area before allowing the students to come back to class.

Nguon Rattanak has reminded the difficulties students had when studying online, such as connections complications and distractions at home. With students back in class, he hopes the children will be motivated to keep learning. However, health measures should keep being applied in order to contain the spread of Covid-19 so the country can transit into the “new normal” routine.

At last, the provincial governor has also urged the authorities to disseminate between the citizens the vote registration for the upcoming municipal elections.
