Lightning Kills 11 Cows in Battambang

Battambang: A total of 11 cows died at the same time from a lightning strike in Battambang’s Srok Sangke district on Wednesday morning. Police came to the area in Boeung Tim Village, Tapon Commune to check after receiving the report. According to the investigation, the owner from Mao family has pastured the cow to the grazing land when it rains.

The cows were left in the area while experiencing a thunderstorm. Lightning hit the cows which resulted to their deaths. Authorities have been warning residents to be vigilant with the weather condition especially with the incidents of lightning strike in different provinces across the kingdom.
