Battambang Prepares for School Reopening

Battambang: Battambang Provincial Administration has announced that schools will be reopened soon. This was after the review and discussion conducted in the province on Wednesday evaluating the Covid-19 situation in order to prepare for the reopening of schools. It was chaired by the provincial Governor, Sok Lou who is also the chairman of the Provincial Committee for Combating Covid Disease.

After hearing the Covid-19 situation report from the Provincial Health Department Director, Voeung Bun Reth, the governor has instructed the leaders to prepare for the schools reopening in accordance to the directives by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. He says the provincial team is preparing for a clean-up drive for schools that have bees used as quarantine or treatments centres. He has assured that the students will soon be able to go back to school and advised the students to constantly follow the preventative guidelines against Covid-19 such as the 3 do’s and 3 don’ts.
