Ministry of Social Affairs Pays Tribute to King Sihanouk

PHNOM PENH: The Minister of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, Vong Soth, led his ministry to pay homage to King Father Norodom Sihanouk at his monument in Phnom Penh on Friday morning. The event marked the 9th anniversary of the King’s death, observed as Commemoration Day in Cambodia.

King Norodom Sihanouk passed away on 15 October 2012 in Beijing, China. The Royal Government has taken this day as a national holiday to commemorate his sacrifice and commitment to the Cambodian nation.
