Kampot: A foreign national was reported missing on Tuesday 12 October around 3pm. The person identified as a Chinese male was visiting the Bokor National Park in Kampot when he got lost in the mountains.

The tourist attempted to make an emergency call around 3PM, but his phone battery died after repeated attempts to call for help but with no signal. Two hours later, emergency rescuers sent a team of 6 people to search for the missing person, but had no results until 8:40 PM.
