Big Drugs Bust in Battambang

Battambang: The Anti-Drug Police Force raided one of the largest drug storages sites in Battambang and rounded up 11 men and 1 woman.

The Anti-Drug Police Force, in cooperation with the Battambang Municipal Police Inspectorate, conducted an operation to crack down on cases of illegal storage and use of drugs.

Anti-Drug Police Force authorities said “This operation took place in the afternoon of Tuesday in Kamakor Village, Sangkat Svay Por, Battambang Province.”

During this operation the competent authorities arrested 11 males and 1 female suspect.

What was seized were 30 bags of methamphetamine (ICE) weighing 20.77 grams, 5 mobile phones and some drug paraphernalia.

After detaining and questioning the suspects with the drugs, the competent authorities are now preparing a case to be sent to court for legal action.
